In Sre Ambel, Koh Kong Province, villagers have been peacefully living off traditional farming since the early 80s	In late 2006, CPP senator Ly Yong Phat's company starts clearing villagers' land which overlaps a concession authorized by the Cambodian government
On July 2006, the community makes its first trip to the capital in an attempt to lobby officials to defend their land right	After negociations fail, military police hired by the senator's company fire shots at villagers resisting clearing of the land, injuring 2 villagers
On March 2007, after months of unproductive talks, the Sre Ambel community hits the road again to protest in front of the National Assembly	Time is running short as the disputed land is still being cleared by company
