To mark World Habitat Day, listen to the families affected by ongoing evictions around the Angkor Wat temple complex.

Did you know that thousands of families are impacted by the ongoing relocation plans?

Some of those families have been living near Angkor Wat for generations. They are being asked to leave and move to remote places, like Run Ta Ek, where there are limited civic resources and economic opportunities.

While some families have already left, others remain and face intimidation, harassment and in some cases violence.

These forced relocations are against international law. Rights to adequate housing are a human right.
